Discovery Activity
#3: Cardinal Directions
Directions: Your
class will be split into teams of 4 people, each team has 2 pairs. Each pair
will be given 3 Post-It Notes. You will
write a different word on each Post-It Note.
You will put one Post-It at 3 different locations within the school
hallways. Starting at the sitting area
outside the library, each pair will write directions using paces and directions
on a compass to location #1, #2 then #3. You will then return back to the
starting place and swap clues with your team pairs. Pair #2 will use Pair #1’s directions to find
the Post-Its and record the words on their clue sheet and vice versa.
