Map – Oral Presentation

 

Directions:  Now that you have completed your map you have the chance to promote your unique project to the class. Using the skills you have learned in Drama class, in a 2 minute commercial, sell your map to the class as being the most useful and appealing to the new students.  We will be evaluating your presentation as a whole class so make sure you are ready!  When all presentation have been made we will vote on the map that will be given to new students.

Stance/Posture

Speaker did not appear confident with presentation

Speaker showed some confidence presenting material

Speaker showed complete confidence presenting material

 

Speaking Clearly/Diction

Listeners could not understand the speakers words

Listeners could understand most of the speakers words but the speaker exhibits many breaks with “ahs” and “ums”

Pronunciation and enunciation are very clear.

 

Volume/Tone/Pace

Volume is too low, pace is too fast, tone is dull.

1-2 of the features: volume, tone, or pace are adequate but not the others

All 3 features: volume, tone, and pace were adequate

 

Map

Did not use map or organizer to enhance presentation

Used map or organizer but not both in presentation
