Description of Study Group
The Study Group: Math Trailblazers Integration with Technology aligned interactive technology with units to be taught following the Math Trailblazers Timeline in grades K-5. The use of interactive technology enables students to grasp concepts by using another medium to enhance the instruction of the math strands of Number Sense, Patterns, Relations and Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Data Analysis, and Statistics and Probability.
Our study group worked to provide ways to enhance classroom math instruction. This collection of resources is not meant as a replacement to classroom instruction, but rather a way to further enhance classroom instruction with technology integration.
In each grade, we have provided resources organized by Unit Number, Unit Name, Unit Vocabulary, Web Resources, Smart Notebook Resources, Labs, and in some grades, Student Practice Resources and Open Response Questions.

How to Use the SmartBoard Resources on this site
Teachers should click on the links provided under the “Smart Notebook Connections and Resources” section for each unit. Some of the links are background pages, some are manipulatives, and others are lessons that can be used interactively with the Smart Notebook and a whiteboard or a Smartboard. The lessons can be saved into your personal Smart Notebook files for future use or for modification. Additional lessons are available at the Smart website.
